I swear by all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
