SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
