Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe to those that pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
