[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
