And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
