I swear by all that you can see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
