Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
