The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 he was created of gushing water 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Most surely He is able to return him (to life). 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 And it is not amusement. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 but I shall bring all their scheming to nought. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
