The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
