And indeed We gave Musa (Moses) the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]. So be not you in doubt of meeting him [i.e. when you met Musa (Moses) during the night of Al-Isra' and Al-Mi'raj over the heavens]. And We made it [the Taurat (Torah)] a guide to the Children of Israel. 23 We appointed some of the Israelites as leaders for their exercising patience to guide the others to Our commands. They had firm belief in Our revelations. 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Hath this not guided them: how many generations We have destroyed before them amidst whose dwellings they walk? Verily therein are signs; will they not therefore hearken? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 They say: "When will this decision be, if ye are telling the truth?" 28 Say: On the day of judgment the faith of those who (now) disbelieve will not profit them, nor will they be respited. 29 So turn thou away from them, and wait; they too are waiting. 30
