۞ Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment. 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say: Surely my Lord utters the truth, the great Knower of the unseen. 48 Proclaim, “The truth has come, and falsehood dare not commence nor return.” 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 Would that you could see how the unbelievers will be terrified by death from which they cannot escape. They will be seized from a nearby place 51 then they will say, "We now believe in Him." But how will they attain to faith, having gone so far away from it? 52 For they had disbelieved in it before; and they hurl allegations without seeing, from far away. 53 And a barrier shall be placed between them and that which they desire, as was done with the likes of them before: surely they are in a disquieting doubt. 54
