The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the fig, by the olive, 1 And [by] Mount Sinai 2 and by this inviolable city, Mecca. 3 Indeed, We created the human with the fairest stature 4 then We cast him down as the lowest of the low, 5 Except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward. 6 After (knowing) this, what makes you still disbelieve in the Day of Judgment? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges? 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
