Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A flaming fire! 11
