Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
