And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
