The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star); 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 It is the shining star -- 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 And I secretly plan. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
