Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
