The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
