By no means! By the moon, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning to mortals, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
