Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 They who would be seen, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
