We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
