Say, "[God says] O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world will have a good reward -- and God's earth is spacious. Truly, those who persevere patiently will be requited without measure." 10 Say: 'I have been commanded to serve God making my religion His sincerely; 11 And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him). 12 Say: 'Indeed, if I rebel against my Lord I fear the punishment of a dreadful Day' 13 Say: "It is Allah I serve, with my sincere (and exclusive) devotion: 14 "Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss! 15 Clouds of fire will they have above them, and [similar] clouds beneath them…" In this way does God imbue His servants with fear. O you servants of Mine! Be, then, conscious of Me 16 And those who avoid the devils lest they should worship them and turn unto Allah in penitence, for them are glad tidings. Wherefore give thou glad tidings unto My bondmen, 17 Those who listen to the Word and then follow the best it contains, are the ones who have been guided by God, and are men of wisdom. 18 Can you save from the Fire he whom against the word of punishment has been realized? 19 But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise. 20 Hast thou not seen how Allah hath sent down water from the sky and hath caused it to penetrate the earth as watersprings, and afterward thereby produceth crops of divers hues; and afterward they wither and thou seest them turn yellow; then He maketh them chaff. Lo! herein verily is a reminder for men of understanding. 21
