These (people of the right hand) consist of many from the ancient 39 And a multitude from the later generations. 40 As for the people on the left hand, how miserable they will be! 41 mid burning winds and boiling waters 42 And shadow of black smoke, 43 [shadows] neither cooling nor soothing. 44 Verily, before that, they indulged in luxury, 45 And were stubborn upon the great sin (of disbelief). 46 And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 47 "And also our forefathers?" 48 Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times, 49 shall all be brought together on an appointed Day. 50 Then you, the erring ones and those that gave the lie to the Truth, 51 "You verily will eat of the trees of Zaqqum. 52 And will fill your bellies therewith; 53 "And drink Boiling Water on top of it: 54 Drinking even as the camel drinketh. 55 That will be their entertainment on the Day of Recompense! 56 We! it is We Who created you: wherefore confess ye not? 57 Have you thought about [the semen] that you discharge -- 58 Do you yourselves create it, or are We the Creators? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 That We may transfigure you and make you what ye know not. 61 You have known the first growth; so why will you not remember? 62 Have you considered the soil you till? 63 is it you that sow it, or are We the Sower? 64 If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder, 65 (Saying:) 'We are laden with debts! 66 Nay, but we are deprived! 67 Have you thought about the water you drink? 68 Is it you who sent it down from the clouds or is it We who have sent it down? 69 If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful? 70 Have you seen the fire which you kindle? 71 Have you raised its tree, or We have raised it? 72 We have made it a reminder, and a blessing to the traveler. 73 Therefor (O Muhammad), praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
