He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 To him you give attention. 6 though you are not to blame if he would not cleanse himself. 7 And for him who came to you striving, 8 While he fears [Allah], 9 You neglect. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 lofty and pure, 14 In the hands of scribes (angels). 15 Honourable and Pious and Just. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 From what did He create him? 18 From a single sperm He created, then proportioned him, 19 Then maketh the way easy for him, 20 Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 We poured out the rains abundantly, 25 and let the earth to break open 26 then caused the grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 Olives and dates, 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 upon the day when a man shall flee from his brother, 34 mother, father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 but others will be gloomy 40 o'erspread with darkness -- 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
تدرب على حفظ القرآن بمستويات مختلفة للمبتدئين والمحترفين. تخفي صفحات التمارين بعض الكلمات بحسب المستوى، ويتم ذلك بألوان جميلة أيضًا.
Practice memorizing the Quran (Hifz) with different levels from beginner to expert. Exercise pages hide some words depending on the level, also done in beautiful colors.
