Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 Who know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
