Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
