The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
