The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 roaring over the hearts 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
