Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
