ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
