The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
