The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TA SIN. THESE are the verses of the Qur'an, and collection of explicit laws, 1 A guidance and glad tidings unto the believers. 2 who are steadfast in prayer, who pay the religious tax, and who have strong faith in the life hereafter. 3 Those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have decked out fair for them their works, and they wander blindly; 4 It is they for whom a grievous chastisement lies in store; it is they who shall be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. 5 And verily thou art receiving the Qur'an from before the Wise, the Knowing. 6 When Moses said to his household: 'Indeed, I can see a fire far away. I will go and bring you news of it or I will bring you a lighted flame so that you can warm yourselves' 7 So when he reached it, it was proclaimed, “Blessed is he who is in the location of the fire (Moosa) and those who are close to it (the angels); and Purity is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation.” 8 "O Musa (Moses)! Verily! It is I, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 9 And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear. 10 except he who has done evil, then, after evil, has changed into good. I am the Forgiving, Most Merciful. 11 "And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people, they are a people who are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). 12 So when Our clear signs came to them, they said: This is clear enchantment. 13 and they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, wrongfully and out of pride. Behold, how was the end of the workers of corruption! 14
