In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Sad. I swear by the Quran, which is full of reminders of God, (that you are a Messenger). 1 But the unbelievers are still full of pride and hostility. 2 How many a generation We have destroyed before them, and they cried out when there was no longer time for escape! 3 And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say: This is an enchanter, a liar. 4 Maketh he the gods One Allah? Lo! that is an astounding thing. 5 Their leaders departed, saying, "Walk away! Hold fast to your deities. This is clearly a conspiracy. 6 “We never heard of this even in Christianity, the latest religion; this is clearly a newly fabricated matter.” 7 “Is the Qur’an which is sent to him, among us?” In fact they are in a doubt concerning My Book; in fact, they have not yet tasted My punishment. 8 Or are theirs the treasures of the mercy of thy Lord, the Mighty, the Bestower? 9 Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any 10 This is only a small army out of the several armies that will suffer defeat here. 11 Before them, the people of Nooh had denied, and the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun who used to crucify. 12 And Samood and the people of Lut and the dwellers of the thicket; these were the parties. 13 There was not one of those that did not belie the Messengers. Therefore, My retribution was realized. 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
