Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ I do call to witness the Resurrection Day; 1 and by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man think that We shall not gather his bones? 3 Indeed, We have the power to restore his very finger tips! 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 Yet when the eyes are dazzled, 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 and the sun and the moon are joined together, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat that Day. 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 But lo, man is well aware of himself, 14 Although he may put forth his pleas. 15 Do not move your tongue with it to make haste with it, 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 When We have recited it, follow its words attentively; 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 NAY, but [most of] you love this fleeting life, 20 and give no thought to the life to come [and to Judgment Day]! 21 Upon that day faces shall be radiant, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 Others will be despondent, 24 Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity. 25 Nay, but when the life cometh up to the throat 26 And men say: Where is the wizard (who can save him now)? 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) 29 To your Lord then will be the driving. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
