Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 who say, "Our Lord, ward off from us the punishment of Hell, for its punishment is a dreadful torment to suffer. 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 who call not upon another god with God, nor slay the soul God has forbidden except by right, neither fornicate, for whosoever does that shall meet the price 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 They pray, "Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones." 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment. 77
