۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
