The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
