The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 What! Shall We treat those who have submitted (to Our command) like those who have acted as criminals? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 36 Is there a Book for you, from which you read? 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have you oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection? Surely you shall have whatever you judge! 39 Ask them which of them will vouch for that, 40 Or have they, perchance, any sages to support their views? Well, then, if they are sincere in this their claim, let them produce those supporters of theirs 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes will be lowered and disgrace will cover them. They had certainly been told to prostrate themselves before God when they were safe and sound. 43 So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur'an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know. 44 and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 45 Or do you ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 46 Or do they have knowledge of the unknown which they copy down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had his Lord's grace not been bestowed upon him, he would have been cast away in disgrace upon that desolate shore. 49 Then his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
