The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And the promised day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 while they sat around it, 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
