Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
