O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time: 60 They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain (without mercy). 61 (Such was) the practice (approved) of Allah among those who lived aforetime: No change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 Lo! Allah hath cursed the disbelievers, and hath prepared for them a flaming fire, 64 Living there for ever, they shall neither find a guardian nor a helper. 65 The Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger." 66 They shall say, "Our Lord, we paid heed to our leaders and our elders, but they led us away from the right path. 67 "Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!" 68
