Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59
