Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 until you reach your graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8
