And indeed We settled the Children of Israel in an honourable dwelling place (Sham and Misr), and provided them with good things, and they differed not until the knowledge came to them. Verily, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection in that in which they used to differ. 93 So, if thou art in doubt regarding what We have sent down to thee, ask those who recite the Book before thee. The truth has come to thee from thy Lord; so be not of the doubters, 94 And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers. 95 Verily those against whom the word of your Lord is pronounced will never believe, 96 even though every sign [of the truth] should come within their ken - until they behold the grievous suffering [that awaits them in the life to come]. 97 Why did no one except the people of Jonah believe (in their punishment before their death) so that they could have benefitted from their faith? When the people of Jonah believed, We saved them from a disgraceful torment in this life and provided them with the means of enjoyment for an appointed time. 98 Had your Lord wished, the whole of mankind would have believed in Him. (Muhammad), do you force people to have faith? 99 It is not for any soul to believe save by the permission of Allah. He hath set uncleanness upon those who have no sense. 100 Say: "Observe all there is in the heavens and the earth." But signs or warnings will be of no avail to those who do not believe. 101 What are they waiting for except to witness the repetition of the days of calamity that their predecessors witnessed? Tell them: 'Wait; I too am waiting with you. 102 Then We shall save Our Noble Messengers and the believers – this is it; it is incumbent upon Our mercy to save the Muslims. 103
