۞ And those who fear not the meeting with Us say: wherefore are not angels sent down unto us or wherefore we see not our Lord! Assuredly they have proven stiff-necked in their souls and have exceeded the bounds with excess great. 21 There will be no good tidings for the guilty on the day they see the angels; and they will cry out, "Keep away, keep away!" 22 And We turned all the deeds they had performed into scattered floating specks of dust. 23 The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. 24 And the day when the sky will be split asunder with clouds and the angels will be sent down in full. 25 The real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Merciful, and it will be a very hard Day for the disbelievers. 26 On the day when the wrong-doer gnaweth his hands, he will say: Ah, would that I had chosen a way together with the messenger (of Allah)! 27 Ah! woe unto me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! 28 He led me astray from the Remembrance after it had reached me, satan is ever the foresaker of humans' 29 The prophet will say: "O my Lord, my people had fettered the Qur'an." 30 Even so have We appointed unto every prophet an opponent from among the guilty; but Allah sufficeth for a Guide and Helper. 31 Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. 32 And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). 33 Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces,- they will be in an evil plight, and, as to Path, most astray. 34
