Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
