Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
