The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
