۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
