Al-Suff 2 of 2

Believers, shall I direct you to a commerce that will deliver you from a grievous chastisement? 10 It is that ye should believe in Allah and His apostle and strive in the way of Allah with your riches and your lives. That is best for you, if ye only knew! 11 God will forgive your sins and admit you into Paradise wherein streams flow, and you live in the lofty mansions of the garden of Eden. This is indeed the greatest triumph. 12 and other things you love, help from God and a nigh victory. Give thou good tidings to the believers! 13 O you who believe! be helpers (in the cause) of Allah, as Isa son of Marium said to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of the children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became uppermost. 14

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Column (Al-Suff). Sent down in Medina after Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun) before Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
